Dan and I met at York College of Pennsylvania in August 2007. Having both graduated from Neshaminy High School, a year apart, we never met. This was extremely hard to believe due to the fact that I live in a small neighborhood where three of his family members reside.
I was working at a Rita's Water Ice and had just finished training a new employee who happened to Dan's cousin before leaving for school. Dan moved in at York College the day before I was leaving and forgot his TV. His Aunt Nancy who lives across the street from me remembered that I too was going to York College and asked me if I could take his TV out with me. Dan's brother came to my house to drop off the TV and gave me Dan's cell phone number to contact him when I arrived at York.
When my family and I arrived in York, PA and unloaded all of my belongings I had my dad call Dan to tell him where we were and that he was able to come pick up his TV whenever he was available. That night I received a text message that was an invite to join Dan and some of his friends at a party. I declined as I was just getting settled and meeting the girls on my floor. Dan continued to send me messages and invites to different places for the next few weeks. I always declined. Finally, after approximately three weeks, I received another invitation to go out with Dan and his friends. I accepted. A friend and I went out with Dan and his friends. We had a great time and continued to go out.
After four years of college and dating Dan and I are planning a wedding for November 2013!
